Tasting Notes
View: Cherry red intense, clean, bright and violet rivets.
Nose: Clean, intense aroma, with high-end feel and good fusion of black fruit (blackberries, plums) and notes of vanilla, spices (black pepper, clove) from the toasted oak.
Taste: Velvety, silky entrance, and with good acidity . Powerful, elegant structure and aftertaste that leaves a good sense of black fruit and balsamic tones. Long finish.
Vineyards
Briñas: ´El Portillo´ Tempranillo varietie, with a plantation density of 1.2 x 2 meters.
Pruning type: Vaso. Plantation year 1984.
Haro: ´San Roman´ Tempranillo variety. Plantation density of 1.2 x 2.6 metres. .
Pruning type: Cord Royal. Plantation year 1979.
Yields of 5000 kg/ha

Manual, the last week of October.
Vinification
After the manual harvest, is done the peeling in a smooth manner by directly falling into the fermentation tank not using any type of pump. The fermentation process was carried out in stainless steel tanks of 25.0000 Kg. This process was done using 20% whole grapes and 80% peeling grapes. Daily pump overs were done during 3 weeks, with temperature controlled fermentation between 28 and 30º C .After is realized the preesing by treading on the inside of the tanks for extracting the máximum wine of natural form.
